About the IIT Student Chapter of AIChE

About Us

"Enriching Chemical Engineering students with the knowledge and ideas necessary for their future careers through innovative and creative thought processes."

AIChE is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with nearly 43,000 members from over 90 countries. AIChE has the breadth of resources and expertise you need whether you are in core process industries or emerging areas, such as nanobiotechnology.

We are the Illinois Institute of Technology student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. We strive to promote Chemical Engineering and to provide opportunities to Chemical Engineering students.

To this end, we hold weekly meetings every Thursday in Perlstein Hall room 108 from 12:50 until 1:40. Our meetings consist of FREE PIZZA and a weekly speaker during our Spring and Fall Speaker Series, who comes in to talk to us about subjects of interest to Chemical Engineering students.
